Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish flamenco and pop singer. When she was just a teenager, Rosalia has performed in popular and the traditional genres of music. Yet, her musical interests are also extending to various genres, including hip-hop as well as soul. Guitarist from Flamenco Pepe habichuela described her voice as sweet and sharp but with the bite of older singers. El Mal Querer is her new album made available in 2018, and had a huge commercial and critical reception. After Los Angeles, her debut album from 2017 was awarded the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and was also awarded the Grammy. The song La Fama featuring the Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami was her third album of full length. It included collaborations on songs with various musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. It was released the month of March, 2022 following a appearance of the track Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia sang solo for the first time on the live show on Saturday Night. Motomami, Rosalia's album that has won the three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female artist to have winning the Latin Album of the Year award twice.
