MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global inroads into the Latin pop mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu (his smash hit from 2016) was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. In Medellin the year of Medellin, the Sony label La Industria Inc. released ADN the debut album of his long-playing career. This album peaked at 8 places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was an instant Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. Mala Influencia, released in 2020 by Noriel as well as his Dopamina album that year. In 2021 he produced the duet to TINI's smash single Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo was raised in the musical home of his family. Both his younger brother and his mother are each musicians. In interviews, he described the importance of music as a requirement. As a child, he played the ukulele guitar as well as piano. Although his first career choice was to be veterinarian His brother Julian convinced him to try learning to sing with an instructor in Cuban. This transformed his life forever.
